Blog Action Day 2008! Calling all blogger!

The second annual Blog Action Day 2008 was announced yesterday,15th August.It will occur on October 15.Last year,the theme was the Environment and more than 20,000 blogs took part.Huge numbers of bloggers participated, the event attracted the support of the United Nations Environmental Programme, the European Union Commissioner for the Environment Stavros Dimas, and received international press coverage. And for this years the Blog Action Day theme is Poverty.I've already sign up the Blog Action Day.

Global issues like poverty are extremely complex. There is no simple, clear answer. By asking thousands of different people to give their viewpoints and opinions, Blog Action Day creates an extraordinary lens through which to view these issues. Each blogger brings their own perspective and ideas. Each blogger posts relating to their own blog topic. And each blogger engages their audience differently.

Anyone is free to join in on Blog Action Day and there is no limit on the number of posts, the type of posts or the direction of thoughts and opinions.
